On this important Election Day gather with women entrepreneurs after you vote (or before but make sure you vote) to have our own conversation about how women entrepreneurs can gain financial support to grow their businesses. We might think politicians are going to create monetary programs to aid us but realistically there are already excellent sources to help us so we don’t have to wait for national policies to change.
At the Women TIES Greater Rochester “Establishing Financial Avenues for Our Own Corporate Growth,” three speakers will share their specific insights on this topic. The first speaker will be Margit Brazda Poirier, M.S., GPC, Owner and Grant Writing Consultant of Grants4Good, LLC, who will discuss the various grant funded options for businesses and nonprofits. Learn how grants can supplement other revenue streams for your business, how to find the best grant opportunities and what you should do now to be ready to apply for grants.
Jodi Davies, VP of M&T Business and Professional Banking, will share knowledge about different funding options from financial institutions like establishing credit lines to handle new staff hires or corporate growth.
22 year entrepreneur Tracy Higginbotham will share a few examples of what other women entrepreneurs have done to fund their companies for growth.
Please share the event with your female friends too or bring a guest. Register at: http://womenties.com/events.cfm#Event420.
